The First Annual Teacher Tech Camp is underway.  The first group completed their camp on
June 9, 2006.  The O.G.I.S.D. Technology Department, Administration and School Board are excited to provide this learning opportunity to our teachers.  This training will allow them to effectively integrate technology into their lessons and prepare our students for the 21st Century.

Check out some of the responses submitted by our Tech Camp participants:

"Tech Camp was undoubtedly the best training I have ever had as a school teacher.  The topics covered were explained in “cliff notes” fashion with hands-on practice. The class size was small enough so that individual attention could be given, if needed. The pace was varied creating a non-monotonous schedule.  I actually looked forward to each day’s activities!"  (read more)
